​And Another Thing is a compilation of twenty-four shorts offering a quick dip into life and death, the supernatural, animal voices and human misunderstandings.

In what state are we really alive and when will we find out we are not? Are there things in the world or inside of us that have a different view of this? Is every sweet old person all they seem to be? And how do we break free from what has come to appear normal but could be pressing us down?

Many of these snippets occupy only one, or two pages, others are more lengthy and involved. All offer food for thought and an opportunity for a quick read before bedtime.

About me

I’m now formally retired after working in design and publishing for many years. Prior to that, I designed and made furniture for homes and gardens.
I’ve been painting and drawing fairly prolifically in the last couple of years, particularly since joining Napton Art Group. Before that I’ve always painted when time has allowed.
Now that I have more time to write I’ve been concentrating on flash fiction, short stories and two novels: ‘Yoyo & Max: A dog’s journey through an apocalypse’ published by Tim Saunders Publishing, and The Afanc: The pursuit of power in post-Roman Britain.
Also here are some music videos of songs I wrote and recorded along with my son Louis.
